Sothink SWF Decompiler is a Flash utility that will give you the source code of SWF files in FLA or in FLEX, giving you access to all the resources embedded in it. These resources include images, shapes, sound and video, as well as sprites. You can have access to the ActionScript too.
After a SWF is captured through your browser (IE and Firefox only), the whole process is a one-click task, allowing you to capture the SWF file in a few seconds. Files available already in your system can be also decompiled easily. Whether you choose to work with this Flash movie or one already sitting in your system drives, the compilation process will only require a single click of your mouse. The elements found appear in a pop-up window, and you can choose to capture selected elements only or all of them. The resources thus extracted are shown in the resources box in the interface. The preview player is simple, easy to use, and has a useful time display too.
According to your preferences, you can select to have the explorer, the resources box, the movie information box (which shows statistics about the movie), and the box showing the SWF statistics all open and active, or just a few of them. Finally, you can decompile a batch of files in one single operation. Standard EXE files created by Adobe Flash can also be extracted using this tool. ActionScript can be searched globally and exported in either AS, BIN, or HTML format.
The software is easy to use, well organized, and works quite fast.
