sancho 0.9.0.4-59 is a graphical user´s interface for the MLdonkey P2P core application.
MLdonkey is a multi-net P2P program that can connect to several networks, downloading a single file from all of them simultaneously.
So, in order to use sancho, you must have MLdonkey already installed. You can download it at http://ufpr.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/mldonkey/mldonkey-3.0.0.static.i386.Windows.exe.
When installing sancho, you will need to tell the program where is MLdonkey´s main executable file, mlnet.exe, and the core setting. If you don´t know what to enter, the program assumes default settings.
The general management of sancho is similar to other P2P programs. You will need to have a list of available servers to connect to (servers.met). Then, the program will try to connect to them, and you will be able to perform searches and download files, thus allowing others to download files from your computer. The program includes the possibility of displaying the MLdonkey´s DOS-like console.
sancho, as a GUI of MLdonkey, connects to the Donkey network only.
