Prince of Persia is a remake of the original PC game. I used to absolutely love the original game. My family and I used to make a ritual out of playing the well-designed levels with amazing graphics and hard-to-kill enemies. That was in the 90's. Now, we are given a real next-generation game. The graphics are stupendous and the way you can control the characters is absolutely amazing. The game has changed a lot since that first installment. This version takes the user into an open world. You can go anywhere at anytime, a la Assassin's Creed. Anything can be explored and mostly all items can be collected. The only drawback that I could find playing the demo is that the game feels absurdly easy. Killing enemies was too easy. There were some nice cinematic endings that looked great, but other than that, fighting was dull. Not that I mind, though. The game is more about bringing light to a world full of darkness, and as the story progresses, the enemies hopefully will get more challenging. This game has got a lot of promise, I just hope it delivers.
- Great graphics.
- The open world is a welcomed addition
