Jihosoft Android Phone Recovery is a pretty simple and straightforward utility created to help you recover data from an Android mobile phone or tablet. This handy program supports a large variety of smartphone models and tablets from manufacturers like Samsung, LG, HTC, Motorola, Huawei, Alcatel, Sony, Lenovo, and so on. It can not only recover data like contacts, SMS messages, and the call history, but also files like photos and videos. It can restore lost or deleted files from both the internal memory and the external SD card of the Android devices.

I also like about this tool the fact that it can recover not only photos, videos, music, and documents, but even WhatsApp messages. Furthermore, it lets you filter the scanning by file types and formats, letting you search, for example, only for BMP photos, MOV videos, or AAC audio files.

Another cool thing about this recovery app is the fact that it can restore data regardless of the reason why that data was lost in the first place, may it be virus attacks, accidental deletion, disk formatting, system/device crashes, etc.

Unfortunately, there are also some downsides regarding this tool. It took quite a while to properly detect the connected Android smartphones, and the trial version only previews the recoverable files and doesn't allow actually recovering any bit of data. Furthermore, while the previous version was working flawlessly, the latest release seems to have some reliability issues as it didn't properly detect recoverable photos from my connected device.

In conclusion, I liked its previous version more. The latest edition of this tool doesn't look trustworthy enough to me so that I could recommend it. My opinion is you should avoid it at the moment, until it gets updated and improved.
