Most Windows operating systems provide you with inefficient solutions for viewing or editing GIF files. GIF Viewer is a simple application that can help you with this issue and you don't even have to pay a buck to use it.

By using this GIF image viewer you will be able to check your favorite image animations, rotate the GIF and convert it to various image formats within seconds.

More to that, you can create thumbnails from the loaded GIF files and save the results to most popular image formats. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the resolution for the generated thumbnail.

I must admit that I wasn't too surprised by GIF Viewer's performance. The program lacked editing tools, even recommended me to use Paint program for any needed alteration, and when it came to uploading my GIF files to the listed websites, the application failed to complete the task (Piclion website is a closed one).

If I had to summarize, GIF Viewer allowed me to preview my GIF files and convert them to various image formats. Unfortunately, this application won't be very useful if you require advanced editing tools, so you can only use it for the most basic tasks.
