The "Evinrude ® Diagnostics Software Program" communicates with the Engine Control Unit ("ECU") and the Engine Management Module ("EMM") and is used for retrieving engine diagnostic information, setting engine operating parameters, performing engine maintenance and printing engine reports on Evinrude ® Direct Injection or "D.I." engines and Evinrude ® E-TEC ® series engines.

USING A COMPUTERIZED DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE, YOU CAN MAKE AS MANY TESTS AND ANALYSES:

_ Read and reset (s) code (s) of the engine failures.

_ Read the EMM module identification.

_ Reading sensors and actuators in real time.

_ Real-time reading of technical parameters.

_ Test operation of the electric fuel pump.

_ Test sensors and actuators in real time.

_ Test operation of the injectors and coils of high voltage.

_ Generate graphics of engine operation.

_ Reading the serial number of the nozzles.

_ Reading of temperature, voltage and voltage of the TPS.

_ Print or export diagnostic data in files. Pdf

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

· Personal Computer: IBM-compatible laptop computer.

· Operating System: Microsoft ® Windows ® 2003, Microsoft ® Windows ® XP, Microsoft ® Windows ® Vista ®, Microsoft ® Windows ® 7, Microsoft ® Windows ® 2008. (Microsoft ® Windows ® Vista ® /Microsoft ® Windows ® 7/Microsoft ® Windows ® 2008 require administrative rights for file management.)

· This application will run on 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft ® Windows ® operation system platforms; however, this application has not been tested on Microsoft ® Windows ® XP 64-bit operating system platform.

· This application will not run on 16-bit Microsoft ® Windows ® operation system platforms.

· As of Evinrude ® Diagnostics "version 3", Microsoft ® Windows ® 95, Microsoft ® Windows ® 98 and Microsoft ® Windows ® ME have been depreciated and are no longer supported.

· As of Evinrude ® EvDiagnostics "version 5", Microsoft ® Windows ® 2000 has been depreciated and is no longer supported due to color depth limitation of 256 colors.

· CPU Speed: Pentium 233 MHz or faster.

· Memory: 64 megabyte or more.

· Hard disk: 80 megabyte or more of free space.

· Internet connection for updates.

· Display resolution: 800 x 600 (1024 x 768 preferred).

· Display font size: For best results the Microsoft ® Windows ® display DPI (dots per inch) resolution should be configured at standard 96 dpi. Some controls may not be visible or look distorted if font size is not set to 96 dpi.
