Check the report.

James Murdock (1776-1856) was an American theologist, scholar and Christian pastor. He was professor of Anicent Languages at the University of Vermont. In 1829, he decided to dedicate exclusively to learn, mainly about the Christianity and several oriental languages. One of his most important works is his Literal Translation of the Whole New Testament from the Anicient Syriac Version, first published in 1851. On it, Murdock shows his vast knowledge of Christianity and of the Syriac language, which was the primary language used by Christian people in Northern Mesopotamia (now Iraq) before Arabic became the dominant language in the area. You can own this important work for free thanks to BibleMax. BibleMax is free software for reading and studying the Bible and other religious texts. Once you have downloaded the core program, you can install many additional modules. One of them is, of course, Murdock's New Testament. You can use it together with all the commentaries and references installed in your BibleMax software, as well as compare this version with other, equally important translations. Remember, before running this module, you should download and install BibleMax core program.
