AMD System Monitor is specifically designed to display hardware activity. Its design is very simple, you basically see the live activity displayed by your CPU, RAM and video card if it has an AMD chipset. It is useful for those looking to get a better understanding of the memory consumption as well as what percentage of the CPU is used in some applications.
The program shows detailed graphics of the hardware activity. It also shows the amount of cores your processor has as well as the frequency of each core. This can be useful if you think you might have a faulty processor core, or just to make sure everything is running as smoothly as possible.
The RAM chart also shows the percentage of memory used as well as a chart. It also shows the amount of memory being used in specific processes, for example memory that is in a stand-by, or memory that is currently being used, and the hardware reserved memory. It also shows the frequency of the RAM.
AMD System Monitor also has an "Always on top" tool which is perfect if you want to see exactly how much an application is consuming while it is running. It also has a Recording button which can be used for setting a diagnosis, or just to re-check the information. I consider that it is a good tool for system monitoring.
